Hi! I’m Lily. Thanks for being here.
I’m a storyteller and performer who adores all of the weirdest parts of life. I write mostly fiction, as well as a smattering of poetry and essays. I love sci-fi, fantasy, and horror, but the more I create, the more genre boundaries feel overly restrictive(last year I wrote an adult novelette that blended gothic horror, fantasy, western, action, and romance, for example). I’m a trained actor, and I’m learning to play the drums(it’s going better than expected!).
I mostly work at my office in the Pocumtuck Valley, Turtle Island. You can hear me at the occasional open mic, or when I make guests appearances on Destination Unknown, the science fiction program on WCCH 103.5 FM out of Holyoke Community College.
This humble webbed site is meant to be a central hub from which you can find all of my various projects. Consider it the Firelink Shrine of the Lily von Brandt corpus, if you will. Enjoy!
